Nightstop Leeds places young people who have nowhere to stay in trained volunteers’ spare rooms.

Young people receive a private room, a warm meal and somewhere safe to stay for the night, while we look for a more permanent solution.

Nightstop in Leeds is delivered by Barnardos – a national children’s charity.

Local Information

Leeds Nightstop has been run by Barnardo’s for more than 20 years, and receives a grant from Leeds City Council towards to the costs of the service.

Over the years we have supported many different young people in Leeds. We have been here for young people when they have had problems at home with the family, when options for « sofa surfing » have been exhausted, and when tenancies have failed.

We often receive referrals from Housing Options when a young person is thought to be too vulnerable to stay in a hostel.

We work with young people aged from 16 to 21 and, in addition to Nightstop, we provide a supported lodgings service.

If you need somewhere to stay tonight, please call 0113 230 7888 between 9am and 5pm,  Monday to Friday, or between 1pm and 9pm at weekends.
