Nightstop South Yorkshire places young people who have nowhere to stay in trained volunteers’ spare rooms.

Young people receive a private room, a warm meal and somewhere safe to stay for the night, while we look for a more permanent solution.

Nightstop in South Yorkshire is delivered by Depaul UK – a national housing charity – thanks to financial support by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

Local Information

This Nightstop service is run by Depaul UK and provides emergency accommodation in the homes of local volunteers for people aged from 16 to 25 on a night-by-night basis.

Our volunteers offer a safe haven providing a warm welcome, a home-cooked meal, a hot bath, toiletries, clean clothes and a listening ear to young people who are often feeling isolated, scared, abandoned and depressed.

They use their spare bedroom to keep young vulnerable people safe by providing an alternative to sleeping rough until a more permanent solution can be found.

If you need somewhere to stay tonight then please call 0114 278 7152 between 9am and 5pm, from Monday to Friday.
